1. FOI2025/00102 Request
To complete my request (ATI1139), please could you provide the final URA which was produced based on all of the guidelines that you have provided me with
2. Our reply
We are refusing your request under Section 43(2) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000, which exempts information where disclosure would, or would be likely to, prejudice the commercial interests of any person (including the public authority holding it). In this case, releasing the requested information would reveal commercially sensitive details that could disadvantage the organisation or third parties in a competitive environment.
We have considered the public interest test and concluded that, although there is a general interest in transparency, this is outweighed by the strong public interest in protecting fair competition and the commercial viability of businesses.
However, our Product Information Database contains information about veterinary medicines authorised in Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Here we publish Public Assessment Reports which provides a summary of the scientific assessment carried out by VMD when granting a Marketing Authorisation (MA).
