1. Your request
Could you supply me details of Special Import Certificates issued for CRESS (50% Bronopol) during 2025 to now (May 2026), or any other Bronopol product for use in aquatic animals. Could you detail the dates of SIC issue and for the quantity imported.
2. Our reply
The table below provides the dates and amounts stated on Special Import Certificates (SICs) issued between January 2025 and May 2026 for Cress 50%. No other certificates for a product containing Bronopol were issued during this time.

Please note that the Special Import Scheme does not collect data on actual usage. Therefore, the number of SICs issued, and the volumes specified on those certificates, should not be interpreted as an accurate reflection of the quantity of product imported or administered.
This is due to several factors, including (but not limited to): instances where a granted SIC is not used; cases where a lower volume than that stated on the SIC is imported or utilised; and situations where duplicate applications are submitted, for example where an applicant identifies an error in the original submission.
