Our reply
The veterinary practice premise for Many Tears Animal Rescue at Cwmlogin House, Cefneithin, Llanelli was last inspected in December 2022. Veterinary practice premises inspections are carried out on a risk basis, the higher the risk the more frequent the inspections. Veterinary practice premises are generally inspected at least every four years, however that interval may be reduced depending on the compliance history of the premises.
The VMD will generally give veterinary practice premises reasonable notice that they intend to carry out a routine inspection.
Details on what is covered during a veterinary practice premise inspection can be found online at https://www.gov.uk/guidance/registration-and-inspection-of-veterinary-practice-premises and at https://www.gov.uk/guidance/inspection-criteria-for-veterinary-practice-premises
