1. Recent updates
Small Business Enterprise and Employment Act (SBEE) updates
The next implementation date has been confirmed as 10 October 2015.
Technical Interface Specification (TIS) version 4.17d has been released updating requirements for Consent to Act. The TIS can be obtained from xml@companieshouse.gov.uk
New schemas will be mandatory from 10 October 2015. Further information on new schemas can be found on the schema status page.
New incorporation schema released
An incorporation schema has now now been released in relation consent to act changes, effective in October 2015.
This change results from new legislation set out in the Small Business, Enterprise and Employment Act.
Changes to consent to act - effective October 2015

Suppression of date of birth - effective October 2015
New schemas have been released to support the new requirements for suppressing the date of birth on company data.
This change results from new legislation set out in the Small Business, Enterprise and Employment Act.
Changes to the rules for company and business names - effective 31 January 2015
Schema updates to support changes to the rules for using sensitive words in company names come into force from 31 January 2015.
A new version of the Technical Interface Specification (v 4.16) has been released - request the latest version from xml@companieshouse.gov.uk.
New schemas for charge search function - effective 3 November 2014
Two release candidate schemas have been published to allow for the use of a Lenders Authentication Code in ChargeSearch.
