1. UKI2S – Space Fund

The UK Innovation and Science Seed Fund (UKI2S) Space Portfolio, is a publicly funded, privately managed venture capital fund. Managed by Future Planet Capital (FPC) and backed by the UK Space Agency, UKI2S invests public R&D funding as equity capital to support early-stage space businesses. 

The fund invests in early-stage opportunities across all relevant space sector domains, including: 

  • Application-enabling spacecraft technologies and manufacturing 

  • In-orbit spacecraft services and sustainability businesses 

  • Downstream satellite services and applications 

UKI2S aims to bridge the critical “valley of death” financing gap, providing essential funding at the pre-seed and seed stages to help startups scale and thrive in the competitive space industry. 

How to Apply: To apply, visit the UKI2S website and provide: 

  1. Company details 

  2. How the company fits the space investment criteria 

  3. A brief description of the idea, product, or service 

  4. A non-confidential pitch deck 

  5. Additional company details (demographic, location, etc.)
