The UK Plant Health Service has developed an international action plan to strengthen global biosecurity and protect our plants and trees from non-native pests and diseases.

The plan includes 20 international ambitions (and their associated activities) on:

• global pest monitoring
• international standards and guidance
• implementation, capacity development and market access
• research and development
• international engagement
