Union connectivity review and fixed link feasibility study costs

Final invoices have now been received and the Department for Transport (DfT) is able to confirm the total cost of the union connectivity review (UCR) and fixed link feasibility study.

The total cost for both projects was £1,999,206.07. This figure reflects the total spent on consultancy services and DfT staff costs.

Sir Peter Hendy CBE undertook the review alongside his existing role as Chair of Network Rail. He did not receive additional remuneration and nor did his UCR advisory panel.
