The EU Research Fund for Coal and Steel (RFCS) supports research and innovation projects in the coal and steel sectors.

This document provides an overview of the position for UK applicants. It also offers further detail about the government’s commitment to underwrite funding after Brexit.

If you’re a UK organisation receiving RFCS funding you need to register your details.

Stay up to date

A Brexit deal has been agreed but needs to be ratified. The UK could still leave with no deal on 31 October 2019 if the UK and EU do not approve and sign the withdrawal agreement.
