Economic assessment of the impact of the Agreement between the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and Japan for a Comprehensive Economic Partnership (the UK-Japan CEPA).
This impact assessment sets out the potential economic impact of the UK-Japan CEPA.
The impact assessment on the UK-Japan CEPA builds upon the preliminary analysis published in the Japan free trade agreement scoping assessment. The purpose of the impact assessment is to provide parliament and the public with information on the potential economic impacts of the agreement.
The impact assessment includes an assessment of impacts on UK’s regions and nations, sectors, employment, consumers and businesses as well as the potential impacts on developing countries.
