Details

Global humanitarian need is at the highest level it has been since World War II, driven by conflict, climate change, and governance failures. In 2022, over 300 million people are estimated to need humanitarian assistance.

The UK has a strong global reputation as a principled donor and thought leader in humanitarian response. The Humanitarian Framework outlines how the UK will deliver its humanitarian commitments as set out in the UK International Development Strategy.
