The Accounting Officer Assessment (AOA) is a required publication for a Government Major Projects Portfolio (GMPP) programme following approval of the UKHSC Programme Business Case in July 2026.

The AOA summarises the Accounting Officer’s assessment of the programme that was approved through the Programme Business Case process.

Copies will be deposited in the Library of the House of Commons and provided to the Comptroller and Auditor General and Treasury Officer of Accounts.
