Candidacy information for re-election to the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) Council in 2026.

The election will take place at the ITU’s Plenipotentiary Conference which is set to convene between 9 and 27 of November 2026

The ITU is the United Nations specialised agency for information and communication technology. The UK has been a member of the ITU since 1871 and will continue to uphold the ITU’s tradition of consensus-based solutions to global challenges.
