The Environment Agency has received a new bespoke application for an environmental permit under the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016 from Harleyford Aggregates Limited.

Regulated facility type
Application for quarry restoration as an inert landfill activity. Void will allow for infilling of 749,000 tonnes (470,000m3) of inert waste, with an infilling rate of 240,000 tonnes (150,000m3) per year, which is equivalent to around 800 tonnes per working day. Also includes a proposal for a water quality discharge activity associated with the landfill.
