The Environment Agency has received an application to vary an environmental permit under the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016 involving substantial change to a permit from Total Recycling Services Limited.

5.3 A(1) a) (ii) Hazardous and non-hazardous waste installation. Site has been mothballed since 2010. This substantial variation application seeks to reinstate previously permitted hazardous and non-hazardous treatment for recovery and disposal activities, increase through puts from 40,000 tpa to 62,000 tpa (no increase in storage quantities), add a new treatment activity of glass depackaging – self-contained plant to wash and produce a glass cullet.
