Details

This review looked at whether the function of the Traffic Commissioners as non-departmental public bodies (NDPBs) is necessary and how that is best delivered. It then considered governance and control arrangements to ensure that they were operating in accordance with principles of good corporate governance.

The review also identified a number of representations from industry which the department will evaluate, developing a timetable for taking them forward.
