2.Adoption of the agenda.

3.Taking stock of the use of the administrative co-operation and recovery assistance in the first 2 quarters of 2023: exchange of information on the parties’ respective use of the temporary measures under the VAT Protocol to the Trade and Co-operation for EU-UK Administrative Co-operation and Recovery Assistance in 2023, statistics and any issues encountered.

4.Implementation of the VAT Protocol on administrative co-operation and recovery of taxes – adoption of decisions of the Trade Specialised Committee:

  • discussion of ‘Decision of the Trade Specialised Committee on the procedure for the conclusion of a service level agreement’
  • discussion of “Decisions of the Trade Specialised Committee on the amount and modalities of the financial contribution to be made by the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to the general budget of the Union in respect of the cost generated by its participation in the European Information Systems’
  • discussion of ‘Decision of the Trade Specialised Committee laying down implementing rules for provisions relating to recovery assistance of the Protocol on Administrative Co-operation and Combating Fraud in the Field of VAT and on Mutual Assistance for Recovery of Claims’
  • discussion of ‘Decision of the Trade Specialised Committee on standard forms for the communication of information and statistical data, the transmission of information via the Common Communication Network and the practical arrangements for the organisation of contacts between central liaison offices and liaison departments’
