United Kingdom Overseas Territories can use this guidance to help introduce tobacco control policies from the World Health Organization’s Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (FCTC) into legislation. This guidance offers advice and examples on priorities in Articles 8, 11 and 13 of the FCTC, which relate to:

  • smokefree public places
  • regulations on packaging and labelling of tobacco products
  • a ban on tobacco advertising, promotion and sponsorship
