The Environment Agency has received an application to vary (change) an environmental permit under the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016 from FGS Organics Limited.
The proposed variation changes a standard rules permit into a bespoke permit.

Permit variation to modernise the permit conditions through the removal of standard rules SR2010 No 5, SR2010 No 6, and SR2010 No 11, and to vary SR2010 No 4 to a bespoke mobile plant permit through the addition of three waste codes: 19 02 03 - Premixed wastes composed of non-hazardous wastes from a lagoon so long as the wastes stored are listed within SR2010 No.4; 19 12 12 - Wastes from the mechanical treatment of non-hazardous wastes. ‘Poultry Grits’ removed via mechanical processes from poultry manure; and 10 01 26 - Silt Wastes from cooling-water treatment (Power Station).
