Details

These undertakings were given under the monopoly provisions of the Fair Trading Act 1973.

CMB Foodcan plc undertook not to:

  • tie the sale of closing machines to those of tin cans
  • require customers to purchase all or a specified proportion of their cans or aerosols only from CMB Foodcan
  • offer loyalty discounts or rebates on aerosols or aerosol valves
