Detail

The government is providing funding to maintained primary schools and academies that is specifically targeted at improving the provision of physical education and sport. Ofsted commissioned a survey to identify and share good practice in 22 schools previously identified as performing well in PE. This survey complements a study in this area by the Department for Education that surveyed headteachers between April and July 2014.
