The Office for Value for Money (OVfM) report sets out the changes the government has made to the public spending framework in response to the OVfM’s work, alongside implementation plans for those reforms which embed ongoing delivery responsibility within HM Treasury. Having successfully delivered on its remit set by Chancellor and left a legacy of value for money improvements across the public sector, the OVfM has now closed as planned.
