Please also provide the total figure from which each number is derived ….Please provide by either District/County/Region or any other known boundaries’

Response

I confirm that the Valuation Office Agency (VOA) holds information in relation to your request.

As at 31 March 2014 there were 1,654,200 dwellings in England that were flagged with an improvement indicator, I attach a file showing the breakdown by Billing Authority and region. This information is taken from internal management information sources and is not necessarily directly comparable with our published statistics.

As at 31 March 2014 there were 23,394,740 dwellings in theCouncil Tax Valuation Lists for England.

These published statistics provide a breakdown of the total number of dwellings in the Council Tax Valuation Lists by Billing Authority and region.

The Standard rounding convention of rounding figures to nearest ten, consistent with other VOA statistical releases, has been applied to these counts in order to minimise the risk of disclosure. Counts therefore may not sum due to rounding.
