Details

Transforming nuclear legacies into sustainable opportunities is the focus of the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA) group’s new Sustainability Strategy 2022.

The strategy flows from the our mission to clean-up and decommission legacy nuclear sites and focuses on delivering sustainable socio-economic outcomes for nuclear communities through decommissioning practices, care for the environment and cultural change.

This strategy is aligned to the NDA’s Strategy 4 and the NDA group’s sustainability policy.

It includes the fundamental elements of sustainability, and the changes, activities and interventions needed to deliver our sustainability outcomes. It provides a snapshot of our approach at the time of publication and will evolve as our work progresses.
