Decision of the Charity Commission published on 8 October 2013.

Following the closure and sale of the charity’s care homes, the commission drafted a scheme to allow the restricted funds from the sale of the homes to be used to relieve poverty generally for the same beneficiaries.

The commission received representations both for and against the scheme being made. After considering them, the commission decided not to make the scheme.
