This Direction states that carriers must provide passenger and service information in a form and manner that is compatible with the technology used by the Home Office and by means of a system which enables the carrier to send and receive communications relating to the information.
It was issued by the Secretary of State under paragraph 27B(8) and paragraph 27B (8A) of Schedule 2 to the Immigration Act 1971.
It revokes The Immigration (Form and Manner of Passenger Information) Direction 2008.
