The Civil Service Apprenticeship Strategy

This strategy sets out how the Civil Service will deliver its pledge to deliver at least 30,000 high quality apprenticeships by 2020.



This document outlines our strategic aims for the Civil Service Apprenticeship Programme and details our ambitions to:

  • enhance diversity and improve social mobility
  • strengthen the skills of our current and prospective workforce
  • provide high quality learning opportunities that are embedded into workforce planning and professional career paths
