If you’re an asylum seeker applying for backdated tax credits payments you’ll need to fill in form TC-DB3.
To be able to apply you must:
- have made your claim for asylum before 1 February 2019
- have children who were either:
- under 16 when you claimed asylum
- over 16 and in full time non-advanced education when you claimed asylum
- have been granted asylum within 1 month of today’s date
Email HMRC to ask for the form in Welsh.
How to complete the form
You need to:
- Download and save the form on your computer.
- Open it using the latest free version of Adobe Reader.
- Complete it on-screen.
- Send it to HMRC (using the email address given in the ‘what happens next’ section of the form).
