Details

If you’re an asylum seeker applying for backdated tax credits payments you’ll need to fill in form TC-DB3.

To be able to apply you must:

• have made your claim for asylum before 1 February 2019
• have children who were either:
  
  
  • under 16 when you claimed asylum
  • over 16 and in full time non-advanced education when you claimed asylum
• have been granted asylum within 1 month of today’s date

Email HMRC to ask for the form in Welsh.

How to complete the form

You need to:

1. Download and save the form on your computer.
2. Open it using the latest free version of Adobe Reader.
3. Complete it on-screen.
4. Send it to HMRC (using the email address given in the ‘what happens next’ section of the form).
