The Environment Agency has received a new bespoke application for an environmental permit under the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016 from Castle Hill Quarry Co. Limited.

This is a new bespoke deposit for recovery permit application. Castle Hill Quarry Co., Limited proposes to import up to 669,000m3 (1,003,500 tonnes) of inert waste to restore the Castle Hill Quarry. The restoration scheme consists of two extension areas at the quarry, including Eastern Extension Area and Old Golf Course Extension Area.
