The Environment Agency has received a variation (change) application for an environmental permit under the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016 from NNB Generation Company (HPC) Limited. Brief description of the proposed variation (change)
The proposed variation (change) is to increase the currently permitted ammoniacal nitrogen concentration of the existing treated sewage effluent discharge from 20 milligrams per litre (mg/l) to 80mg/l, along with the potential introduction of dosing the CSTP with magnesium hydroxide. There are no other proposed changes to this existing WDA as part of this permit variation application.
