The Environment Agency has received an application to vary (change) an environmental permit under the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016 from Kingpin Recycling Limited.
The proposed variation does not involve substantial change.

Kingpin Recycling Ltd is a non-hazardous waste treatment facility, with mostly end-of-life tyres and other rubber based waste. The purpose of the permit variation to extend the permit boundary to the west of the site; add waste codes (including wastes consisting of rubber and some metals); increase storage volume to 5,500m3, but no change to annual throughput; add treatments (shaving, baling, cutting, shearing, rim removal and pressure testing) with some treatments to be done outdoors.
