Details
This interim policy explains how we regulate providers of supported accommodation.
It also sets out:
- our powers under the law
- what actions we can take if providers are not following the regulations
- what we may do if we find out about unregistered provision
It covers the period from when we began to register supported accommodation services (April 2023) until we start routine inspection of them (after April 2024). In this period, we are only doing registration visits to providers, and potentially monitoring visits, if we have any concerns about those providers we have registered.
