Funding through the Extra Payment for Replanting under Eligible Criteria (EPREC) is now open for applications until 15 November 2026.

EPREC is only available to grant/agreement holders who planted trees in 2025 to 2026 with funding from:

• England Woodland Creation Offer (EWCO)
• Urban Tree Challenge Fund
• Local Authority Treescapes Fund

     The scheme has re-opened with a name change: from 'Extraordinary Payment for Restocking in Exceptional Circumstances' to 'Extra Payment for Replanting under Eligible Criteria'. The pages were updated with the new funding arrangements for 2025 to 2026. The application form is now available on this page.
