This implementation plan explains:

• the government’s target implementation timeline for implementing Planning and Infrastructure Act 2025 (PIA 2025) measures
• how government plans to implement policies contained within PIA 2025
• how applicants and others could use PIA 2025 measures once in place

The secondary legislation and guidance flowing from the PIA 2025 will support the government’s growth and clean Energy missions by improving and streamlining the Development Consent Order (DCO) process.

 This will provide greater certainty for applicants and speed up the delivery of national infrastructure projects.
