Details

The Statement of Strategic Priorities for telecommunications, the management of radio spectrum and postal services sets out the government’s strategic priorities and desired outcomes, including:

  • fixed and wireless digital infrastructure
  • furthering the interests of telecoms consumers,
  • spectrum management
  • the security and resilience of telecoms infrastructure
  • postal services

This follows a consultation on the proposed Statement of Strategic Priorities held July 2025 to September 2025.
