The Environment Agency has received an application to vary (change) an environmental permit under the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016 from Veolia ES (UK) Limited.
The proposed variation changes a standard rules permit into a bespoke permit.

This application is to change the current standard rules permit into a bespoke Household, Commercial and Industrial waste transfer station permit. Included in the changes are to move the storage of wood and glass to outside bays, change the layout of the building to accommodate a new bunded food waste bay inside the building. The addition of storage of scrap metal and food waste in containers outside the building. The addition of EWC 10 12 06 (discarded Moulds). Also included is the replacement of 5,000 litre fuel tank with a 30,000 litre diesel tank and 5,000 litre adblue tank, the tanks will not form part of the permitted activities as these fall outside of the scope of the waste activities which will be permitted.
