The Environment Agency has received a new bespoke application for an environmental permit under the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016 from BioConstruct NewEnergy Limited.

The site will process 40,610 tonnes of agricultural waste per annum. Point source emissions include a discharge of polished and clean surface water to an infiltration lagoon as well as emissions to air from a combustion plant; back up generator emergency flare; emergency pressure release valves; CO₂ vent at gas upgrading unit and filter vents on polishing plant, concentrators and micronisation plant.
