These standard rules allow you to operate a WEEE ATF, excluding ozone depleting substances, at a specified location.

  1. We updated Standard Rule 2008 No 23: 5kte WEEE ATF excluding ozone depleting substances and accompanying Generic Risk Assessment. We have reduced the annual input limit, reduced the maximum quantity of batteries that can be accepted, provided clarification to what wastes need to be stored in containers and/or under weatherproof covering and have prohibited point source emissions to air.
  2. We have updated the interpretation section 4.4 of the standard rule with a revised definition for the term ‘European Site’
  3. We have added text to clarify the status of the new and amended rules sets following consultation No 12 and re-instated the existing rules sets that continue to apply until 1 March 2016.
