These slides set out how the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) estimates the contribution of certain types of small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) to the UK non-financial economy.
Estimates are provided for women-led and minority ethnic group (MEG) led businesses using data from the Small Business Survey 2014.
