Details of the application

Simon Henderson has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.

The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 8 of The Water Abstraction (Transitional Provisions) Regulations 2017.

The Environment Agency has received the following abstraction licence application within the Till catchment.

The application is to vary a full licence to abstract water as follows:

  • at an instantaneous rate of 16.4 litres per second
  • 59 cubic metres an hour
  • 1,068 cubic metres a day
  • 15,162 cubic metres a year
  • between 1 May and 30 September inclusive in each year
  • at National Grid Reference (NGR) NT 96776 34500
  • from abstraction location West Fenton Farm.

The water will be used for Spray irrigation - Direct.
