1. Final funding claims 2015 to 2016

Action

For training providers funded through a grant for their adult skills budget, discretionary learner support, advanced learning loans bursary and community learning:

  • Your digital funding claim opens at 8am on Friday, 21 October
  • You must submit a final funding claim by 6pm on Monday, 24 October
  • The claim must be signed digitally on the skills funding service (SFS) by 6pm on Thursday, 27 October by your principal or a delegated authority

The user guide contains further instructions.

Failure to submit a signed funding claim may result in funding being reclaimed.

We will publish final reconciliation statements on the SFS in early December.

2. Funding allocations to training providers 2016 to 2017

For information

We have published the 2016 to 2017 funding year contract values on the funding allocations page of GOV.UK.

The publication provides contract values as at September 2016 for colleges, training organisations, local authorities and employers that have a contract for 2016 to 2017.

It excludes contract values that are not confirmed.

3. FE Choices employer satisfaction survey 2015 to 2016 results

For information

Colleges and training providers can now access the results of the latest employer satisfaction survey on GOV.UK.

The survey captures employers’ perceptions on the quality of training provided, and the responsiveness of their college or training organisation to their needs.

Along with valuable feedback on performance, the survey also shows comparisons with other colleges and training organisations of the same type.

4. FE Choices learner satisfaction survey 2016 to 2017

Action

The learner satisfaction survey for 2016 to 2017 runs from 31 October 2016 to 7 April 2017. This year, one survey will capture feedback from all existing learners, including community learners.
