FE Choices: information for providers

FE choices provides comparable information to help learners and employers make informed choices about education and training.

All FE choices data is available on GOV.UK and DATA.GOV.UK with performance indicators held on the National Careers Service website.

FE choices consists of:

  • a set of basic information made available in a clear and consistent format
  • nationally collected and published performance indicator data that measures aspects of performance such as: * success rates * learner and employer satisfaction * learner destinations

Information is provided about:

  • further education colleges and other organisations that receive government funding and offer education and training to people over the age of 16

  • organisations that offer academic and vocational subjects, apprenticeships, and training on and off the job

Learner satisfaction survey 2015 to 2016

The learner satisfaction survey for 2015 to 2016 runs from 1 November 2015 to 1 April 2015. The survey is an opportunity for existing learners to rate their learning or training.

Learner destinations

The learner destinations performance indicator is the proportion of learners completing a Skills Funding Agency funded and Education Funding Agency funded programme in one academic year, and progressing in the next academic year to a defined positive destination.
