About the learner and employer satisfaction surveys

Details

The learner and employer satisfaction data provides information to help learners and employers make informed choices about education and training.

The FE Choices learner satisfaction survey will not go ahead for the 2020 to 2021 academic year due to the ongoing impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.

The Department for Education will be conducting a survey looking at the experiences of FE learners during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.

This survey will be run on a national scale, to provide greater insight into the impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, in areas such as:

• quality of remote learning
• pastoral support
• aspects of apprenticeship delivery

It will allow learners to feedback to the department on their experience, which will help inform future policy development. As this is a nationally representative survey only, the findings will not be broken down by provider level.

The FE choices employer satisfaction survey will not be running in 2020. Employer satisfaction scores will be collected through a new feedback feature for the apprenticeship service. More information is available on the ESFA blog.
