1. Year-end funding claim 2015 to 2016: deadline Friday, 16 September

Action

If you receive funding through a grant for your Adult Skills Budget (ASB), you must make your year-end funding claim by 6.00pm Friday, 16 September.

You can submit your claim through the digital claim form on the Hub; the form will be available on Thursday, 15 September. We will pre-populate the form with your R13 individual learner record (ILR) information. You must add your forecasts for the remainder of the 2015 to 2016 funding year.

We have published a user guide to help you complete the form.

2. Exceptional learning support claims 2015 to 2016

Action

You must complete the exceptional learning support cost form 2015 to 2016 to submit final costs for the 2015 to 2016 funding year. This is for each learner whose learning support costs exceeded £19,000.

Please email the completed form to the exceptional learning support team by 27 October.

3. Register of apprenticeship training providers: survey closes 5 September

Information

The digital apprenticeships service will contain a list of providers who have successfully applied to be on the register of apprenticeship training providers (RoATP). When the apprenticeship levy begins in April 2017, employers can use this list to choose one of these training providers to train their apprentices.

We have published our proposals for the RoATP. These outline a significant change in the way we work with providers and how providers work with employers. Much of this information will be new to providers, subcontractors, apprenticeship training agencies and other bodies.

To comment on the proposals, please complete the register of apprenticeship training providers survey, which closes on Monday, 5 September. Your feedback will help us shape the final register.
