Decommissioning ROTO on 31 July 2021

We are formally decommissioning ROTO on the 31 July 2021. Our funding rules will be updated to reflect this. The Register of Apprenticeship Training Providers is now the market entry point for providers wishing to deliver apprenticeships and we will advertise funding opportunities for other funding streams on GOV.UK, including the recently announced expansion of traineeships.

The ESFA’s funding agreements include clauses providing for early termination, which we have normally only exercised where there are issues including those relating to quality such as an Ofsted Grade 4 or where we have other evidence of poor quality delivery. The 3-month notice period allows us to ensure learners are protected through a managed transfer to providers with good quality provision with employer agreement.

The list covers from the 2014 to 2015 academic year to date and will be updated on a regular basis.

The policy for funding higher-risk organisations and subcontractors sets out criteria which would prevent a provider being considered for funding.
