The purpose of this report is to provide regional guidance on the identification, notification, investigation, and control on Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI) outbreaks.
It was developed with partners across the West Midlands region following the identification of the need for a coordinated multi-agency approach to managing STI outbreaks.
It has been written for health protection professionals, staff working in specialist sexual health services and commissioners or public health teams in local authorities.
