Details

These guidance and application forms apply to the special free school competition in Portsmouth announced in July 2017. Special free school competitions in other local authorities are now closed for applications. Details of future special and AP free schools opportunities will be announced in due course.

Applicants planning to apply to set up a special free school must register their interest before submitting their application.

Special free schools are free schools for children with special educational needs or disabilities (SEND).
