The Seed Sourcing Grant (SSG) closed for new applications on 19 August 2025.

These forms and guidance are for applying for a Seed Sourcing Grant.

After you’ve read the guide ‘How to complete your SSG application’, you can apply by completing the following documents:

  • application form
  • finance spreadsheet
  • evidence of financial viability (if applicable)
  • a map (only applies to seed stand or orchard planting)

  1. Added a note that the grant is closed.

  2. Removed wording around cumulative threshold as it no longer applies across all three nursery grants.

  3. Updated the 'Personnel costs' section in the 'How to complete your application' guidance to clarify overheads for personnel.

  4. Added new versions of the application guidance, application form, finance spreadsheet and grant agreement template. Two new attachments were also added: 'SSG eligible species and activities' and 'Process diagram for SSG applications'.
