You can use these documents when running a competitive tender process for a high-value procurement. This includes EU-compliant procurements that you advertise in the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU).

Use the model invitation to tender (ITT) letter to send to potential suppliers to invite them to submit a bid for your contract.

Once you’ve identified the winning bid, notify all of the suppliers of your decision at the same time using the example letters to successful and unsuccessful tenderers. We’ve provided alternative versions of each letter, depending on whether you’ve advertised the tender in the OJEU.

A guide to running your own competitive tender process between suppliers for high-value and EU-compliant procurements is available.
