The scheme-specific detailed exchange information requirements (DEIRs) will set out the documentation required to be provided by contractors at each RIBA PoW stage as part of the procurement gateways. The below is a summary of the procurement gateways for each value band, to be read in conjunction with the appendix A timeline document.
High value band – engagement-based selection route (EBSR):
- preliminary invitation to tender (PITT)
- invitation to tender (ITT)
- RIBA stage 3 contractor’s deliverables
- RIBA stage 4 contractor’s proposals
High or low value band – submission-based selection route (SBSR):
- ITT
- RIBA stage 3 contractor’s deliverables
- RIBA stage 4 contractor’s proposals
High and low value band – direct allocation and future schemes. With or without early supplier involvement documentation (where applicable):
- invitation to submit proposals (ISP)
- RIBA stage 3 contractor’s deliverables
- RIBA stage 4 contractor’s proposals
