Details of 795 reports of salmonella infections recorded in October are given in the table below. In November 2017, 577 salmonella infections were recorded.

2. Table 2. Shigella infections from faecal specimens (England and Wales), reports to PHE: October to November 2017

Details of 167 reports of shigella infections recorded in October are given in the table below. In November 2017, 163 shigella infections were recorded.
